The Last Week Before Holidays.

Finally, got past the first few teaching weeks and soon heading into a two week break! School has been more awesome than ever, I am glad that everything has gone so smoothly so far.  New teachers, new friends. Everything is going well.

I feel that I have learnt a lot so far. Especially things that are very different as compared to secondary school life. This is clearly a fresh start in everything I do as I now face different and more difficult challenges and obstacles as I overcome assignments and works that require my 110% in everything I do.  Many things have changed since I put in the first entry into this webpage. It’s like I’ve grown again, and in the blink of an eye, nearly half the year is now gone, very soon it’ll be the end of the year. Everything starts again, so fast how time flies.

iPhone Vs. Blackberry

One of the best debates amongst phones, the iPhone against the Blackberry. In my opinion it’s always these two phones that people are talking about. Comparing which is better, which to buy, and the pros and cons of each of them. Well I don’t really bother about specifications of a phone usually, as long as it can SMS and call and any other normal functions I may require from time to time such as calendar, calculator, other applications as such, to me a phone like that can be considered alright already. That is the attitude that ended me up with my HTC Touch Diamond First Generation. Well the only thing that made me go for it was definitely the looks of the phone. Until now, I must say, this is one of the “sexiest” phone in terms of looks, however, other things are just not good to talk about.

Right now, I’m also deciding whether I should get either an iPhone or a Blackberry, or maybe I shall just get another phone, a normal one. Another nice looking phone which I have considered so far, Motorola Razr. It’s the most normal phone right now, at least it has the basic requirements of what I am looking for in a phone. Therefore I am fine with that phone, and it does look very good.

My phone is dying on me already, symptoms of it’s “old age” are showing now. It’s so difficult to use my phone, I can’t barely communicate with others effectively. Well this has been a very technological post I guess. All I am talking about is phones, but to sum it all up, I am actually complaining about how my phone is dying . That’s that main point, and also I would like feedbacks on what your opinions might be as to getting an iPhone or Blackberry. Also, if there is anyone out there who likes the Motorola Razr as well, go ahead and vote for it as well. This may make my decision so much easier, alright another day of me writing, hope you all enjoy this page! I.P. Man

Ip Man is now the best fighter in the world. He throws punches at lightning speed, able to fight ten people by himself. I wish I had his mad skills. Of course I could always sign up for Wing Chun classes and train really hard, but in this time and day, no one really fights like this anymore. After all, guns are a more practical solution in fights. Before you even land a single punch on me I would have shot you from afar if I owned a gun in the first place.

However, it was not really the amazing fighting scenes which caught my eye. It was the story of how an honourable chinese man stands up for the pride of his race and decides to fight the caucasian man to defend the dignity of his race. It really speaks alot about one’s integrity to me I guess. I see no lies in his life, setting his priorities right as well, his family before everything else. Also caring for his students when they did not have enough money to pay for his lessons.

Although this may be a movie, I believe there are definitely people who have such good morals and practises such as Ip Man. Then again, if everyone was like this there would be no war and fights amongst people and countries. Leading to so-called world peace, which is just a dream people hope to have.

In conclusion, everyone should watch Ip Man and learn Wing Chun. Alright kidding, everyone should try and understand that such values which Ip Man possesses are hard to come by, and we ourselves should try and cultivate such values. This way everyone would be happier, I know I would.

Okay, time to go order a wooden pole ( the one used in Ip Man ) to go practise my Wing Chun. Smell’ya later! – I think only few people might understand that line and actually laugh about it.

“Hot Hot Heat” Arrives In Singapore

Well firstly, Hot Hot Heat is a band, and secondly, no they are not in Singapore. That was just my idea of trying to score for creative title for this post! However, Hot Hot Heat is definitely relevant to what I’m about to post.

I’m sure it’s not just me but most people out there can tell that the weather this few days is extreme. Extreme leaning more towards being humid and hot. Can hear many comments made by people walking by in the streets, “It’s damn hot today.” I myself say that one too many times, I have my friends to testify to it.

It’s alright if you arrive back home and go rest in your room with the comfort of the air-con cooling you down while you carry on with your daily activities. Very unfortunately, my air-con is spoilt for the past few days. It’s just days and I’m already complaining about it. Using the fan does not make things any better, I feel as though the heat in the air is all being blown towards me by the fan so how is that more comfortable for me.

I’m praying that the air-con is still repairable and hopefully that would be completed soon. Sorry if I seem like I’m spoilt with the air-con but its just that I can’t really take the heat and I do perspire easily. If my air-con is beyond repair, then I better hurry trying to adapt to using the fan I guess. We’ll see how it goes, for now it’s just a sauna in my room with me “enjoying” it inside typing this post out.

This brings about the end of my second post, so Singapore if you can hear me, you could really try snow for a change.

ANNOYINGORANGE’S FIRST ENTRY

Everyone to the new world! HELLO WORLD SAYS WORDPRESS

Awesome first week, hopefully the rest of the 3 years here will be LEGEN…wait for it…DARY! Long bus rides to school are definitely a drag but tolerable nonetheless. Falling asleep waking up still stuck in the jam definitely will be revisiting such scenes throughout all other bus rides. Reaching school late for classes, terrible nonetheless, panicking on the bus, rushing up the treacherous slope to class, reaching class perspiring. Definitely have to kick the bad habits of being late.

Modules learnt are all new and fresh to me, but all interesting. Hopefully able to excel in all things I do, final goal is to enter a good university. This of course requires continuous reminders to myself…

STRIVE TO DO WELL, ALL EFFORTS PUT IN!

Movie scenes, frame by frame work, everything seen in a new perspective, soon enough I’ll be part of that world along with many other friends, all supporting and helping each other along the way. So…
